We are proud to announce the return of our Palmerston North programme, To the Front Te Papaioea! The youth music programme will be held in the school holidays between Saturday 27 – Tuesday 30 September, hosted by Creative Sounds Society – The Stomach, Palmerston North

To The Front Te Papaioea is open to youth aged 12-17 years who are women, transgender, intersex, takatāpui, queer and gender diverse.

At the programme they learn instruments, form bands, write original songs, and perform at a showcase, all guided by musicians, mentors and industry professionals. Alongside collaborative learning, participants take part in workshops about DIY merchandise, mindfulness, and performance skills. Each day they enjoy lunchtime performances from local artists.

As well as helping out coordinators with day-to-day operations at the To the Front programme, you will be able to form a pathways band, develop new networks by getting to know our coordinators, mentors, and your Pathways peers.
